Looking for:
Microsoft office accounting 2008 service pack 1 free downloadMicrosoft Update Catalog.Join or Sign In
I already know that it is no longer supported but the app still meets my needs and I am moving from an old computer to a newer one, I found a download site for Accounting Express, downloaded and installed the application, then attempted to restore my database from the old computer to the new computer.
I get an error that my old computer has is newer than the download that I installed on the new computer. But on the Microsoft support site, when I query for Service Pack 1 for Accounting , the link actually shows as and hoping htat was a typo, I downloaded it anyway and it failed because "the expected version wasn't found".
How can I get the right service packs to update my software so that I can restore my database from the old PC to the new PC? MS Provided me with a free copy of MS Accounting when it was first introduced, as I was in that business, I tried it but didn't find it suitable. MS generally removes the backup install file from their site together with an sp's once they cease support and withdraw a product.
Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Isn't there anyone from Microsoft that can tell me why the links are now dead BUT the articles themselves are still active? Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. None of the links appears to work for downloading service packs. Easy game, right? Just look for the old service packs and install them in sequence.

I know that I need to have the same versions to restore; I also know that I can't just copy the program files from the old computer to the new computer The version that I originally downloaded from the web to my new computer is 4.
As near as I can tell from what is on the Support. So I started searching for service pack download links to bring the newly downloaded version up to my needed version AND to get my 9 years of data to restore on the new computer.
I found that there were apparently three service packs at the following locations:. This site in other languages x.
